DASC 2006 (http://www.dasconline.org/) is at the downtown Portland Hilton hotel (921 SW Sixth Avenue) this week. In a huge win for PSAS, the AESS has given us a free booth to hang with the "aerospace big kids" and show off our project. And during the inevitable slow times, it'll also be a great time for us to actually get some PSAS work done!
They've even given us access to the 180 paper talks in 5 parallel tracks being given, some of which are pretty darn interesting. There's even a section on open systems, which some of us should definitely attend. See http://www.dasconline.org/FinalProg.pdf for the schedule of papers.
Here's the catch: we need people to man the booth. We especially need warm bodies for setup and teardown, in order to carry the banner, laptops, odd rocket pieces, etc., from the hotel back to FAB.
So here's a sign up sheet. Please sign yourself up, and/or email me (Andrew) and I'll sign you up. Thanks!
