Faust's expectations
- WPR
- sent the day before the weekly Team meeting
- subject line should be [Capstone Team 25 - PSAS Avionics] WPR (Year-Month-Day)
- first WPR should be sent next Monday (December 19th)
- capstone website will have formating guidelines - see the bottom of http://www.ece.pdx.edu/~faustm/capstone/students.htm
- Schedule, project proposal with PDS at the end of January
- Oral presentation of project proposal at the end of January. Proposal should include:
- introduction - what is PSAS, what are we building and why (Faust proposed that Jacob should handle this section)
- project requirements - robustness and reliability (and why), environment the project will be put in
- make sure the proposal doesn't leave out any information that is "obvious"
- the proposal doesn't have to define whether the node will use CAN or USB, but it should discuss the pros and cons of both
Faust's role
- Faust is available to review any documents or proposals before they are presented
- Faust will try to make the weekly team meeting every other week (he will probably be at the meeting on Wednesday, January 4th)
- Faust will also sit in on any proposal or design reviews

- Send Faust a link to the capstone team website
- Send Faust a WPR on December 19th
- Study:
- avionics block diagram (found on the avionics homepage)
- the white paper from the last CAN front-end design
- more USB documents
- get a brief overview of the CAN bus

- Discuss block diagram (is it sane, should it be changed, how does it relate to the CAN front-end)
