WPR 03/03/2010 - 03/16/2010

This week
- Snapped components on schematic to 0.05 inch grid, multiple 2
- Updated bypass capacitors to 100nF value
- Switched USB1 and USB2
- Replaced all resistors and capacitor with R0603 and C0603 packages
- Named and labelled all wires on the schematic
- Cross checked TQM5200 library dimensions and pins with the datasheet
- Updated all power and grounds taken from the previous lv2_node schematic
- Marked 3.3V and 5V symbols accordingly
- Built Test Point symbol and package of 0.3mm diameter drill for 30 awg mode wire
- Placed test points for all pins of TQM5200 and unused pins of other components
- Marked R18 resistor as optional
- Connected JTAG pins to 87758-1216 16 pin header.
- Cleaned ERC errors

- Test Points placed on all unconnected pads of the TQM5200

- Two 10 pin 2mm Single row Molex connector used as Ethernet connector

- Built library parts for 10 pin 2mm single row Molex connector

- Reset pins PO_RESET, HRESET, SRESET, RESIN connected to 16 pin JTAG connector
- Frequency divider components moved in the schematic for better tracing

- 4 layer board with GND on 2nd and 3V3 on 3rd layout
- Placed the TQM5200 and all the test points on the board layout
- Silk screen layer changed for all transistors and Diodes
- tkeepout layer altered to allign resistors and capacitors with TQM pads
- Decided with Andrew the location of the TQM, Power Supply and the IDE connector

- Move components to avoid crossing of air wires
- Check for ERC errors

- CAN, USB placed between the TQM connector because the spacing between the board and the TQM is 3mm
- Routed airwires of USB and CAN
- Silk screen layer changed for USB and CAN transceiver libraries.

- DRC errors cleaned on Board layout
- LED resistors changed to 470 Ohms
- Routed airwires on Frequency divider, LED and Power supply components
- Changed dimensions on the Ethernet daughter board
- Changed the locations power supply components
- Moved all the 5V to the left side of the board

- Route power supply and IDE connector
- Fix DRC errors
- Ask Andrew about routing the LTM airwires
