Solid State Gyroscopes
Here's a comparison of current (2006/05/03) obtainable MEMs gyroscopes. Here's a good resource for seeing who's making gyroscopes these days.
Cheap (Basically Useless)
These gyroscops are good shake sensors, but they're basically unusable for IMUs.
