Preferred Formatting

For Questions:

Please number the question.
If you post two or more questions, please put a line space between them.
If the question has multiple parts (i.e. (a), (b), (c), etc.) just include them within the question.
Example: 1. (a) Is the 1Mbps bandwidth of the CAN bus a bottleneck? (b) If so, how much more bandwidth would we need?

For answers:

Use a check mark (./) before writing the answer.
Indent the answer to the question right under the question with no line space.

Below is an example of all three types of posts:

(a) Is the 1Mbps bandwidth of the CAN bus a bottleneck? (b) If so, how much more bandwidth would we need?
- (./) (a) Not really no. (b) We do not have an explicit need for more bandwidth but more would be better. (!) One possible idea is since the MPC5200 controller for the FC has two CAN controllers, we could dedicate one for the IMU which is a heavy data flow node and the other controller for all other nodes. This topology would make the 1Mbps bandwidth more than enough for our design.

NOTE

Due to the arbitrary nature of the posts that will be posted here, we kept a big "general" posting area but when we get a decent number of posts we can then work on better organizing the posts according to categories like firmware, hardware, general concepts, etc.
