Spacewire communications bus is a new bus being used on current generation spacecraft and satellites. It is a combination of IEEE 1353 and LVDS. It was originally used by ESA but is now showing up in other countries spacecraft including the US. It is a fault tolerant bus with data rates between 2 Mb/s and 400 Mb/s.
