Are we interested in building a research scale liquid fueled motor?
With the new (commercial) space race, numerous companies are developing liquid fueled rocked engines with great success. With such engines, a number of benefits can be had:
- Engine can be throttled
- Engine can be vectored (thrust vectoring)
- Engine can be re-ignited
- Higher ISP than hybrid counterparts
Attempts to buy this technology has been unsuccessful (it seems they only sell to NASA scale organizations).
