Older Brothers Launch site (circa 2001)

We used to use a launch site that's a bit closer to Bend: we no longer use this site.

This is Oregon Rocketry's launch site, located on private land. Although we've never actually launched from this location, we've almost launched from here quite a number of times ;) Oregon Rocketry routinely gets FAA waivers to 20,000ft AGL at this site.

This launch site is located about 200 Miles from Downtown Portland

  1. Take Hwy 20 out of Bend towards Burns.
  2. When you are @ 25 miles out you should see the small town of Millican.
  3. Go approx. 14.1 miles farther east on Hwy20.
  4. If you make it to the town of Brothers you've gone too far.
  5. Turn right onto dirt road(look for launch signs). Follow for approx. 1 mile
  6. There your are! Please remember to close any gates behind you.
