LV-1 Altitude Simulations

Here are 6 different simulated runs of the rocket. The drag coefficient is somewhat hard to model because of our camera shroud and unique launch lug system. We have simulated the flight using two different drag profiles and 3 different weights.

The final altitude varies +/- 750 feet (from target) depending on the simulation

The time to apogee varies +/- .90 seconds

This column has runs for 44,45,and 46 lb (final vehicle weights) : (target weight is 45lbs) This column is run with a slightly higher drag coefficient :
